a kick!

So I have been feeling her kick pretty regularly now and about a week ago I started to feel her kick on the outside too! Very lightly but I still feel it. The other day Jay finally felt it too! It was a great moment. She finally kicked for daddy! He said it was a pretty strong kick too. Every day they feel a little more stronger and a little more noticeable. Its a nice feeling to be reassured daily that she is doing well in my belly!

I am sitting at work right now and she is moving around like crazy!! If she keeps kicking I might never get any work done :) hehehehe

GIRL!!!

Jay and I went to our Level II ultrasound today. Everything went very well. Baby is good, growing properly and everything else looked good too. I'll tell ya though these people really have a trained eye. She said that it was a girl before she even zoomed in on the 'area' ! LOL When she did zoom in I totally saw the 3 little lines. My baby girl. I cant believe that I am going to have a baby girl. It was weird to finally start calling baby...she.

I will not lie though, as soon as she told me it was a girl I did get a little nervous. I think it was/is more of a shock factor than anything. All kinds of things popped into my head, all the good and bad things that a little girl can get herself into! I know that Jay and I will have our work cut out for us. But it's work that is totally worth it!
